JP TOWER / KITTE Atrium
Overview
Located on the first floor of KITTE, the retail facility within JP TOWER, the Atrium is a refreshingly open space that is bathed in natural light throughout the day. It is ideally situated just across the crosswalk from the Marunouchi South Exit at Tokyo Station and along the route to Yurakucho, making it a lively intersection for not only facility visitors, but also for the local office workers and tourists—Japanese and foreign alike—who frequent Marunouchi day after day.
KITTE, the retail facility within JP TOWER, preserves and reproduces part of the former Tokyo Central Post Office while combining it with newly built areas. Nearly a hundred shops and restaurants occupy the basement and first six floors of the building, coupled with signature facilities like the Tokyo Central Post Office, JP TOWER Hall & Conference, the Tokyo City i tourist information center, the Intermediatheque scientific and cultural museum, and much more.
A variety of events are hosted at the Atrium throughout the year, each one tinged with distinctive seasonal charms. It can be rented out for various events, making it a favorite venue for companies, public agencies, and local governments alike. The Atrium can serve as a central Tokyo-Marunouchi hub for massive informational campaigns reaching every corner of Japan and beyond, and is the perfect site for diverse promotional and public relations activities aimed at visitors to the area.
Space layout
The triangular space measures 300 m2 (24 m × 25 m) and is in the center of the building.
Facility
Regular Usage: Tables and chairs are placed in the space so that visitors to KITTE can rest.
Event Usage: When utilized for an event, banners can be hung from the ceiling and electric power is available.
Note: Contact the KITTE Event Space Management Office to use the space for an event.
